sdahdal Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Hi, Im using osCommerce for a video sales store, and I have a Movie Title with 1 attribute of FORMAT, and I have the options VHS and DVD. But I want to put the VHS on special, and not the DVD. But I dont want to seperate the items because then I get two of the same in the Manufacturer (Studio) listing. Is there a way to put specials on options? any ideas, help!! Sam
hobbzilla Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 You can change the price of the attribute... the special is based on the base product.. not attributes.

hobbzilla Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 If all you are wanting to do is sell it for less, then change the price lower.. if you are asking how to make it show up in the specials page, then you will have to modify quite a bit of stuff to make attributes be able to have specials.. if you do that (or have it done for you) I highly recommend sharing what you have made with the community in the form of a new contribution!
