Guest Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Hi, just wondering if the cart can handle both download and deliverable products at the same time. scenario: I'm developing a site for selling digital video clips.. most will be downloadable but some will be so large that they will have to be delivered by sending the customer a DVD. Is it possible to mix and match?? The ultimate goal would be to have CLIP1 with several options: web quality, TV quality, DVD quality, HDTV quality. the 1st 3 should be downloadable but the HDTV need to be posted. thx for any insight.

What I have not been able to discover are 2 things however (I have searched) Can an option be made to triger a download or delivery for a product? example. I am selling video at different resolutions and hence different file sizes. so I have a product with 4 options... options 1-3 will add the product as a downloadable item but option 4 (v.high resolution video) needs to be mailed on DVD. Is this possible??? Other thing I cant find is if there is a mod to allow video instead of pictures for a product. Thank You for any assistance you may be able to offer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you could have opt 1,2 and 3 as one attribute - for download and another attribute which if selected mean dvd - The 2 attribute selections would have to be set independently to ensure the customer actively amakes the choice.
