First, I am using osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 The website is adult oriented so the squimish should stay clear. directory - PUBLIC directory - SECURE I have two directories running my store. The one side is searchable by engines and is in my PUBLIC directory. The other handles transactions and is under SECURE. The problem is that no product images appear in the PUBLIC side where they all show in the SECURE. Actually, that statement isn?t entirely true. The images DO show if the user viewing the page doesn?t use a firewall such as Norton Internet Securities. Questions 1. Will the search engines be able to find all my products if they are in the secure directory? 2. If the engines cant search in my SECURE directory, I need the two directories to make the store searchable, right? 3. If I need the two directories, is there a work around so that the images are viewable even with a firewall being used? I hope someone else has experienced these problems and can help me.
