indentation on subcategories

I've actually made some amount of progress on learning php and how to modify OSCommerce. you wouldnt know it to look at the site, it still looks so basic, but it seems like i've made lots of changes. anyways, i am having some trouble with the subcategory display in the infobox. our subcategory names are pretty long, so they drop down to the following line. they end up looking funy, because the indenting seems reversed - the first line is indented, and the second line is unindented. you would think for something nested like this, the second line would be the indented one.

 

anyone have any ideas on how to set the second line indent? nothing i mess with seems to have any effect. i'm about to just insert spaces into the subcategory names, but thats not really a fix. thanks for any help you can give.

well, i finally gave up and just added spaces. that doesnt work, the program knows that they are useless spaces and just ignores them. I shortened the subcategory names as best i could, and now only have one that falls down to the next line - it doesnt look quite so funny this way. still, i may need to have more long category names in the future, and i would like to know how to change the indentation.. any ideas? thanks.
