mobilebyrd Posted February 1, 2005 Share Posted February 1, 2005 I have just started to use osCommerce to develope a site. I installed everything in my directory and it works fine. I now seem to have two osCommerce folders with different extensions. Both folders are in the same directory and one looks redundant. Can anyone tell me if I need the main oscommerce folder in addition to another folder named oscomerce.bak? I have no clue what the oscommerce.bak folder is or what it is for. Guest Posted February 1, 2005 Share Posted February 1, 2005 Here's what I do: rename it from oscommerce.bak to was-oscommerce.bak. Then forget about it for a week or two. If something starts to complain, it's easy to find and easy to restore.
