This will replace your current boring invoice and packing slip with a much nicer, cleaner and fancier invoice and packing slip. I added a box around certain sections with a drop shadow. Also, I added a few other goodies as well as the order number to both.

I'm having some trouble on invoice.php

 

I can't get my entire store info to the left AND the list of items doesnt take the full page:

the screen invoices and packingslips look great but when I print them out only the corners of the borders come out...ive tested my printer but cant understand why its not printing whats on the screen.....any ideas??

You have to change your browser settings for the correct print output. For IE5/6 go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced and make sure there is a checkmark with the option 'Print backgrounc colors and images'.

With FireFox go to File -> Page Setup and put a checkmark with 'Print background (colors & Images)'. That should be all.

Hey Graveyard666, you have to edit your <TD> tags and be certain you have the correct "colspan=X" there.

I see what you mean. It is kind of scary when 2 minds think a like that closely.

 

I did get the images from another contribution all together, I see they are the same name as your images too. The original author of that other mod must have got them from you or you got them from him. But the color shade of the gray is a bit different.

 

In any case, I see that we both have a pretty cool contribution.

Great contribution also. I had originally installed yours, but I think your is better suited for sites outside the US due to the date format used in the upper right hand corner. .... Another difference was yours actually created a table in the database....oh yeah and you also had places on their for EU Taxes and so forth... I only switched because I couldnt modify the function in the table to changed the date in upper right to MM DD YY .... as I am still learning.....

your site is coming along. I had noticed your site maybe back in December 2004. I see you have installed the CRE Loaded Version that comes with theme templates...

 

did you do that theme/template yourself? or is it theme that is available for CRE Loaded Versions?

 

anyway to answer your question, you can add your telephone number from the admin >>configuration>>store address and phone

 

whatever you put there will show up on the invoice.

Thank you! The template is one that is offered free by one of the users of cre loaded. The theme is called floral.

Great contribution!

I had the printing problem too and solved it with the above help. this should go into the install file IMHO. The other thing i had to change was the header and footer in "File->Page Setup.." and basically remove them; otherwise the URL and page number shows up by default.

Go into your Amin / Configuration / My Store and edit your stor address. Then just add your phone number below. I saved mine as:

Instead of

Edit your style sheet (stylesheet.css) or manually edit the HTML where you want to make the changes with FONT tags.

 

You may also need to revove the class call as well if it still does not look correct (class=xxx)

Seems to work very well. I may be getting used to osCommerce now, but it seems to me to much more easily understood, even the coveted "intuitive!" :thumbsup:

 

Thanks for taking the time to give the community a USA version bc I couldn't have modified Mr. Giorgioblu's Italian version, as nice as it is.

How do I adjust/fix the INVOICE "Totals" ?

 

They print up in the middle instead of the far "LEFT"(as it should). :huh:

If this is happening when you print on paper and not on the PC screen, then I have no idea unless it is a mistake in the HTML code and your browser is not affected by it or you need to adjust your printer settings.

 

Create a screen shot... Then post it here using the IMG code. Just please be certain to save your scanned image to a smaller file size. no one wants to wait 10 minutes for a huge image to appear.
