Country - Zone

Hi,

First post here and surely won't be my last.

 

I am setting up in the admin panel, and have set the country to Australia and then go to set 'zone' (defaulted to 'Florida') in the drop down option box there is nothing.

 

Any suggestions please??

That is because Florida is the only Zone listed in the instal package.

That would be great if I lived in Florida, but I don't, so does anyone know how can get Australian zones????????

I have downloaded the Australian zones, can anyone tell me what file I need to upload these into.

Use phpmyadmin to run the SQL query on your database. It will add the records to the zones table.

To Select a different Zone than the default Florida Zone: An Example (using England as new Zone).

 

In Admin:

 

1. go to Locations / Taxes

2. click on Zones

3. Click The New Zone button at the bottom of the page

4. put England as the Zones Name:

5. put En as the Zones Code:

6. select United Kingdom as the Country:

7. go to Configuration

8. click on My Store

9. select Zone from the list in My Store

10. click the Edit button on the right of Zone

11. choose England from the Drop Down Menu

12. Click the Update Button and the zone is changed instantly.
