No confirmation email being sent

Hi all,

 

I cannot say enough good things about OS commerce, it is just SUPERB!!

 

One small problem which I really hope someone can answer?

 

Newly registered customers are not getting confirmation emails.

 

I'm setup on Unix/Apache and all my settings seem fine (see below)

E-Mail Transport Method: sendmail

E-Mail Linefeeds: LF

Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails: false

Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS: true

Send E-Mails: true

Funnily enough I can send out a newsletter which is getting picked

up but not confirmation of a new account.

 

Any ideas???
