Customer To Input Attribute

Hi there , firstly just moved into OCCommerce and i am suprised and lost in such a big project. For past two days i have been reading and surfing on this site going thru every page but couldnt find a solution for what i was looking for...

Basically our site will be selling dresses, skirts etc and we are a wholesaler. We sell products in packs of 5 or 10. Which each item in the pack can be different sizes to different customers which needs customer input . I have managed to display sizes in product options and attributes. But i was wondering if there is an easier way to get the customer to input the numbers. For an example if i create a product option like Size 8 to Size 20 how can i get the customer to input the values. Example of this would be ;

Size 8 : 1

Size 10 : 2

Size 12: 2

Size 14: 2

Size 16: 2

Size 18 : 1

Thanks in advance... and i am sorry if this has been asked before as i couldnt find it anywhere...

Sounds like what you want to do is going to require some custom coding. Check out this contribution:

it gives you the ability to add textboxs as attributes as well as checkboxes and radio buttons. I recommend this one, it works quite will. You can have text boxes for each size of each dress set and allow the user to enter their quanity, however getting this to do exactly what you want is going to require some coding. But this contrib is a good place to start.

If you find an easier way, I would love to know because I will be doing some sites like what you described.

Hope this helps a little.

osCommerce is a great piece of software with wonderful contributions.

Spend some time in the contribution area. There are a lot of gems there.
