Shipping Question / Advice

I have a few questions regarding multiple vendors and shipping based on those vendors by product.

 

My store will have approximately 5 different vendors that i will drop ship from. Within the categories of the site there will be lists of products as usual, however some products are from one vendor(supplier) as other products will be from a different vendor(supplier).

 

My question is which shipping module is best to define this action? If a product is ordered from vendor1, the cart would then calculate shipping based on where that vendor ships their product (say Cincinnati Ohio) -- So if any customer goes in the cart, they check out and it calculates shipping from my drop shipper address, to the customer.

 

Let me throw a wrench in there and say, what if a customer was to put multiple products in their basket and check out, how would this work in terms of the back-end shipping as far as calculating each product, to the customers address from the products drop shipper address.

 

Lastly,

 

Each vendor needs an email regarding these orders, does the shipping module based on product/manufacturer in the back-end send a given email to that vendors email address?

 

I'm curious how i set it up so a given manufacturer/vendor has a specified email that order goes to, that way any order are logged in my back-end in OSC and the order is emailed to the vendor that appropriately matches that persons product(s) in their basket.
