Hi,

I just uploaded the e commerce to my domain. Just wondering how I can make it a secure connection when it checks out. Do I have to upgrade ? How do I integrate my Paypal merchant into the site ? I have activated in my modules section.. then what ? sorry just a beginner. Can someone help ?

You will need to purchase and install a ssl certificate. Contacting your host to find out the best way to do this would be a good start.

Once you have the certificate installed you will need to change your two configure.php files to enable it.

As far as using paypal I would install a paypal ipn module if that is how you are going to accept payments.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

An alternative to buying your own SSL certificate is to see if your host provides a shared SSL certificate.
