verisign and osc issue - returning from verisign

I have installed Verisign for the website I'm working on (in Australia) and it seems to be all functioning correctly until it returns to the checkout_process.php page.

 

Once it reaches that page it re-directs to the login.php page.

 

If the customer logs back in it has cleared the cart and does not acknowledge the order.

 

Is this a problem at verisigns end (i doubt it) or a problem with oscommerce at my end.

 

Please help!

could be cookie settings, however the return should be to the checkout_success.php page
