Coupon/gift voucher cont. not installing

I have downloaded the latest version of the coupon contribution. In the admin area I see the download button but whe I press it the page refreshes. The weird thing is when I press the "info" arrow it brings up what I should see if I was installing it. When I make the changes and click update it goes back to the green install button but it still has a "9" for the sort code in the box. When I go through on the client end the box comes up to put the number in but the redeem button isn't there for me to click it. PLease help
