freni32 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I have my website installed on the server at: www.radarreviews.com/catalog I am trying to get that to pop up when people type in www.radarreviews.com It says I need to upload the page to catalog/public html what file do I need to copy to upload it into the public html folder, also do I make a new file in there, or is there a certain area in the public html I upload it to.
stevel Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 You should re-upload your entire site to the top level root of your site - the name of that varies by host. After you do that, edit the two configure.php files to reflect the new path. While you're at it, change the name of the admin folder. I see people suggesting redirects and other tricks to cause this to happen without re-uploading the whole site, but I think those cause more problems than they solve. julianpuje Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 If you have uploaded your OsCom store to a directory called catalog, you need to transfer all the contents of your catalog folder, over to the public_html folder. Easiest way is just to rename the catalog folder to public_html, and rename the original public_html2. Then set up your 2 configure.php's to suit Julian A little knowledge is dangerous, I SHOULD KNOW. If Life Begins At 40, What ends????
