AOL email problem

I am having a terrible time with AOL email addresses. If a customer has an AOL email address, emails are not begin sent. I set up an AOL account with SPAM block completely off, and it still isn't getting any emails. I directed my web developer to this link from the forum:

She says it didn't work. I'm not familiar with the files and such since she's done all of it for me, but can someone step me through exactly how I would get to the area mentioned in the link above.

OR, does anyone else have a solution to this AOL email dilema?

I'm sure they're being sent, but they might well not be being received!

First up I don't have this problem - they do arrive at AOL addresses from the store I did. Maybe that's because I use text-only emails. Boring but reliable. So it is possible!

Anyway, if you use HTML mails this might be useful: http://webmaster.info.aol.com/htmlemail.html

hth, good luck!

My email settings look like this:

E-Mail Transport Method sendmail

E-Mail Linefeeds LF

Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails false

Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS false

Send E-Mails true

Can I sign up at your store and see if I get an email?

This is driving me crazy!! I went to 2 other stores that my developer did and signed up with them......I didn't get a welcome email from them either. There HAS to be something I can do so that AOL emails are received!!!
