General pointers

I am trying to learn how to build a oscom.. site but I dont know where to start.

 

If i wasnt to change anything in the files (Like the csv) do I have to have a wysiwyg editor?

 

I have messed around a bit like trying to add contributions but when it comes to "Add define" something I always muck it up.

 

I must be doing something very wrong because I cannot get my head around this.

 

Any pointers will be much appreciated.

I suggest you start here. You do not need a wysiwyg editor, but it is helpful to have an editor that recognizes and helps you with PHP.

I have had a look on there,its good and v helpful

 

I am trying to add some contributions to the site but why pay someone if I can learn to do it so i am not dependant all of the time.

 

Someone has built my site for me but I would like the freedom to do my own customising/building.
