need bullets but have problems

hello there ppl.

this is my first post, dont laugh

i want to change my Categories infobox, so each line is seperated by a line and each category/heading has its own bullet.

i have installed and love the lines and bullets contrib, but this does away with, 3 buttons, home, view all products, returns.

i can modify my existing categories.php so it has a line using the <hr> code but figure the bullets out.

my main categories are as follows:

Clothes

Games

Hardcore DVD

View All Products

Home Page

Returns

i have reinstalled my original categories.php

and here is a copy of it, please help as i am about to go mad :
