New setup

searched forums for a guide, was unable to find a full setup help, but nonthe less i did set up my oscommerce. Install was successful and localhost/catalog shows me new site, now when i got to locahost/catalog/admin to try to start working i get this error

Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in c:\wamp\www\catalog\admin\includes\classes\upload.php on line 31

not to sure what to do, any pointers would be very much appriciated

search for php5 fix. basically comment out that line // $this

 

and then you wil have no problems

this doesnt look normal, i have double settings for everything. I.E i have to put True or flase twice for eveyrthing, what does this mean...
