Server to Server Communication

I am new to the world of ecommerce, but I have been using FrontPage for years to develop and maintain my web sites. I am currently in need of a shopping cart that will do two things:

 

1. After paying, I'd like the customer to be directed to a URL where he will be viewing a "webinar." Can this (the redirection) be done with oscommerce?

 

2. The webinars are being stored on a platform that will require "server to server" communication between itself and the ecommerce provider. Does this software provide "server to server communication?

2. What exactly do you mean server-to-server? CURL? SOAP? osC has a http client class but other than that you'll have to roll your own CURL or SOAP code...
