Changing text on main page?

Hi all.

 

Could somebody please tell me how I change the text on the main page?

 

I know I need to modify the Index language file, but whatever I change causes errors such as

 

Warning: Wrong parameter count for define() in /home/.sites/33/site5/web/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13

 

 

Any suggestions?
