herminshs Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 HI got a problem I added one item today to my catalog, and all of the sudden, I could not add anymore, I have a total of 20 items in my site, but now, all I can do is preview the new item, but neither the "back" or the "insert" buttons work!!!! Please help. Another thing, I forgot, but how do I setup a password to the admin section? all I do now is go to: http://www.mysite.com/catalog/admin and I get right in, thanks!!

As for securing admin go to your admin directory and change it's name to something new then go to the admin/includes/configure.php and amend the references in there to admin to your new name (save the file and make sure there are no white spaces left) then go back to your newly named admin and set permissions to something like 644. Finally if you have cpanel choose the protect directory menu item and navigate to your newly named dirctory and set a password.
