Invisible Links in categories

I have looked through the forums and have not found this topic. Forgive me if it is posted in the wrong area.

 

My client would like to have categories that she sets up in admin just like normal However: She does not want the products to show up in the "categories box" She is happy with the way that the categories and products are setup and work. She just needs

Certain products to only be accessible from certain areas of her store not every generated page.

 

If any one knows of a contrib that might help or any suggestions for me I would appreciate it.

Could hard code the Categories box and make a category under the Admin just for the hidden products that is NOT hard coded into the box.

 

This would work fine as long as she does not want to be changing the categories a lot.

 

Not the best way to do this I'm sure, but a simple alternative.

I thank you for your suggestions. I will give this a try. I thought maybe there would be a way to do it with a contrib.
