Clustering

Is it possible to run the same store on a cluster of server? By cluster I mean multiple application server running the same code base and connecting to a single sql server and database.

Should a user be always directed to the same server for is whole shopping session or could each request end up on a different server?

Is there any chance of concurrency problem?

Is there any information cache in the system that would prevent update done in the db to be reflected on all the application server automatiquely?
