I am filling out a quick form when people order basically a checklist but i need an ID for each order, what is the quickest and easiest way of finding out the order ID of each order because it doesnt appear on the invoice or packing slip or in order details, but you can search for an order ID?

thanks guys,

Since its not on the Invoice or packing slip, I'm pretty sure the simplest and quickest way to get the order# is to look at the URL at the top of the browser when you are viewing the invoice or packing slip.

Just a thought......

Search the contribution area. There is a "hack" that allows you to add that information to both the packing and invoice... not a very difficult thing to do at all.

Sorry about this but it isnt what I expected it to be, all I want is the single digit order number e.g 4 to appear on the invoice.

Please could someone direct me towards the file, cant find it:))

It's possible the author didnt post it has a contrib but more as a tips&tricks. I don't recall as its been well over a year since I have seen it. Try a search of the tips&trick forum...
