pblue1235 Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 I am designing a fan club site. The site includes a Coppermine Photo Gallery, osCommerce, and phpBB. I would like to integrate the login. I found instructions at Coppermine's web site to integrate the login for Coppermine and phpBB. Coppermine actually gave instructions to integrate the login with several message forum software packages. What I invision is at the time of login on any page the log in for all pages would be updated. It would seem this would be easy, but I am just starting at this. I couldn't find this done anywhere for osCommerce. Has someone done this? Can it be done? Mike

Mike <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The phpBB login uses a username and password where as the oscommerce system uses email address and password. I'm thinking initially you may have to build a bespoke login system that incorporates the username email address and password that then updates the login for each app. I'm interstead in doing this myself but have little time / knowledge to get this going as a serious add on, though am willing to help in any way.
tedbooks Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 there is a contribution for phbb that does that and i am sure that looking at that will help you with galery alsi i have not used it but it seems to work since i have seen sites that are doing that.
