I read all the faq's for each forum and couldn't find a good place to ask this, I hope this is the right forum.

I just wanted an opinion on if you thought this would deter sales.

I made it so my cart shows the base price per item, with the individual attribute prices under it, then the quantity then the total price. So basicly:

Product              Unit      Qty.    Total

                        Price

My First Item      $5.00    10  $65.00

-atttri #1          +1.00

-attri #2

-attri #3            +0.50

Do you think reminding customer how much they are paying for each attribute will deter sales? I keep thinking that they will see it and say "$1 extra for that!?" and decide to not buy. Is it better than showing them $6.50 per item? at least they see the base price.

Could those of you who have experience with this type of thing tell me if I am over thinking it? I was trying to make it so they can see why it cost what it does, but I don't want to scare away customers...

Opinions?

I really appreciate any guidence, trying to make my store as user friendly as possible :)
