otterhound Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 I've read the threads here about authorize.net and it looks like a lot of people are having a lot of problems, particularly for softgoods transactions. I'm just getting started, so I could use linkpoint or payflow instead. Is anyone using those, and if so, how has your experience been? Quote

tfs Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 I need to use Payflow pro, any recommendations? Which module should I install from the contributions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Quote
Guest Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 payflow pro requires root access so you can modify some of the files, do you have that kind of access? Quote

I'm just getting started, so I could use linkpoint or payflow instead. Is anyone using those, and if so, how has your experience been? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We've been using Linkpoint for a year, and haven't had any major problems. But we're now looking at switching to Authorize.net because we want to participate in the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode programs, and Linkpoint doesn't support those through the API. They also don't make their LinkShield fraud protection service available through the API. Go figure. Linkpoint's customer support is terse, to say the least. Here is their *complete* response to my query about obtaining the VbB/MCSC and LinkShield services: "These products are only available for CONNECT users. They are not available for API users." I guess that's to the point, but it doesn't exactly leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling. Quote "Buy the ticket, take the ride..." -HST
