Steve D Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Hi, I have OScommerce up and running and am really liking the product. However, I am moving the mySQL database to a new server and would like to know how to instruct OScommerce to look for the new db. Are there specific paths that I can alter, or must I reinstall (and configure) OSC from scratch? Any ideas? Also, any particular advice on importing from the old mySQL db? Thanks in advance :) Cheers Steve
Guest Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 all dependent upon your server setup. usually have to create the new database with a user and password, reflect that change in the configure.php files.

Steve D Posted January 19, 2005 Author Posted January 19, 2005 It's worked fine, but I now have two new problems. When I make changes in the Admin section - any changes at all - I get a 'warning, no file uploaded' warning, even though the Admin panel reflects the changes (I can add new products etc., they just don't appear in the catalog itself). And my pop-up images no longer work. Click on an image to enlarge it and nothing happens. I changed only the configure.php files, and only the line pointing to my SQL database. Nothing else. Any ideas? Cheers
