For anyone that already has a site built and is looking only for a shopping cart, you can use OScommerce. I figured this one out by being a little lucky as I am not a programmer and I do not know PHP or even HTML. First you set up OScommerce with all your products and all your setting and preferences, do not worry about the front page of OScommerce, your customers will not see this anyway. You can go to the Knowledge base above

and find where to take all the columns off both side of your OScommerce site. You can later link them if you have the need in your original site you want to keep.I decided to keep a few of the data driven boxes but you do not have too. Now that you have cleared out the two column on either side and you have all your products, shipping, prices ect in place. Get you a demo version of Dreamweaver MX or a full version. bring your whole original site in to DW. you will now need to open your browser to your OScommerce new catalog site. and with Dreamweaver open, open one original page where you have a product and a buy button. Link the buy button on your original site, the one you have open in DW, (copy and paste works well) to the page on your OScommerce site you want your customer to go to when they click your buy button on your original site. save the page. do this to all you original pages that have buy buttons, then upload your original site back to your server. I may have left out a couple of steps, but the most important part is you can link any button on your original site to any page on the new OScommerce site, meaning you can pass over pages you do not need. YOu will not beable to delete the pages that your customer does not see, as they need to be there, but it is a way of detouring to the exact page you want your customer to see when they click the buy button on your original site page.

I think you are going to experience problems doing this. For example, create a test account on your site, login and add one of your products to your cart (from your original pages). Click on continue shopping and pick some other product from your original pages. What does your cart have in it now?
