Guest Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Hi, We offer different credit cards that customers can use for online transaction, e.g. visa, amex and mastercard. Now each one of them charge at certain percentage per transaction, e.g. visa charge 5%, amex charge 6% etc etc... Now how do we configure oscommerce to reflect this in product pricing, i.e. when customer chooses a particluar credit card during online transaction the total price should reflect the credit card transaction charges. Lets say customer purchases a good for 50.00 including tax, now they choose to pay it by visa which charges 5% than the total price should be 52.50 i.e. 5% of 50. How can i configure oscommerce to do this? Thanks in advance....

Most if not all cc processors do not allow you to charge your customers extra for using cards and will drop you no notice if they find you doing so. You should check the TOS or your processor to make sure. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?
