I don?t know how to hide Admin

Does anybody know how to hide the admin folder? If somebody write this: "http://www.myserver.com/catalog/admin/index.php" he can get access to my database. ?What can I do to make this folder unreachable for evarybody but me?

I have got with my hosting the possibility to create a password for the file admin

and now is OK

 

Look with you Hosting if it is possible to put a password to this files very important
