kntukeeBOB Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Ok, so far my partner and I have tried almost everything possible and have searched through yards and yards of pages to find out exactly how we are going to change the way the Category list is drawn to fit the feel of his old site he's porting. On his old site that we are porting the layout from, once a person clicked on the category name from the main navbar, it brought up a list of sub-categories to choose from, all given in a bulleted form; nothing but a simple table was used, since it was hard-coded in many instances. We are enjoying the fact that OSC draws the list of products under each sub-category in a nice little table, with the highlighting and what-not, but are venturing to find a way to list the sub-categories themselves in a similar table format, in order to effectively model my partner's previous site. We have searched through quite a bit of code and have learned a lot about OSC from trying to find individual functions numerous times. Currently, we are looking to take the normal thumbnailed view of the list of sub-categories under each main category and set them up in a table similar to the product listings themselves in each sub-category. :unsure: If anyone has done this for themselves and has changed their thumbnailed view of sub-categories into a table format listing, Please please please inform me on exactly how I can go about doing the same thing, perhaps even with an example of your own site which has it implemented.
