How does Paypal work..?

Sorry for the silly question, but maybe this will help somebody else too :)

 

I was just wondering how Paypal works. The only option I've got in the Administration area is to enter an email address..is that all there is to it?

 

I dont have a Paypal account yet, so I was wondering what I have to do to start selling..using ONLY Paypal.

First thing you need to do is open up an accoun and get verified.

 

If you are going to use paypal as your payment processor I would install one of the ipn contributions as they are an improvement over the stock module.

thx, the only problem I've got now is that paypal opens and it expects the customer to enter the amount to be paid, and it doesnt add shipping..am I missing something?

The total amount should be sent to paypal but you should be using the default module, install one of the ipn contributions.
