Guest Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 hey all great site ;) I have managed to sort of get my downloadable products to work * i have read though everything on this forum and followed it * i added the file to /catalog/download/ (logo1.zip) * i added the file name in product atributes (logo1.zip) * when i checkout and complete the transaction i get this Logos 1 Expiry date: Sunday 23 January, 2005 2 downloads remaining Now when i click Logos 1 do download it it says this Forbidden You don't have permission to access /catalog/pub/.hpedwimizeyokfibrzx/logo1.zip on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. -- I have checked in the /pub folder and .hpedwimizeyokfibrzx/logo1.zip actually exists and the file is present. I have set the /catalog/download/ to chmod 777 and /catalog/pub/ to 775 as followed on the forum but the above keeps happening anyone have any ideas what i am doing wrong? thanks in advance

I have a download Ebook set up on my oscommerce store. I followed instructions (I believe in knowledge base somewhere) that say to create a folder called 'catalogdownload' and place it in the main nfoscomm directory. It should appear right above or below the catalog file. Then you place your download document in the catalogdownload file. It sounds like you are putting the downloaded document in the wrong place.
