Edd Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Is there a way to integrate ssl with yahoo as a host? Their instructions are to put everything you need in a http://yourdomain/ssl then it automatically sends you to https://s.hostingprod.com/@yourdomain/ssl. Is it possible to do https:// another way?
♥Vger Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Is it possible to do https:// another way? Yes, plenty of other ways - all of them better - but not with Yahoo. I think by now you've realised what I think of Yahoo's hosting? Give yourself a break - go somewhere else. Vger

Vger <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yahoo is so convenient with 50 2GB mailboxs linked to my existing yahoo mail account, 75gb bandwidth, 3 gb storage for $20 a month, 24 hours customer support (that isn't too shabby) and instant yahoo search engine integration..... i looked around before deciding on yahoo but for the last year i haven't seen anything to take my $$ elsewhere. input on better or equal options for price / month would be appreciated.
Rob123 Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Without specifically recommending a host which is against forum rules... I just happen to be looking in the footer of this forum. http://www.oscommerce.com/redirect.php/go,9 HTH, Robert

It is always your call but you have to decide if the problems getting and keeping your site up and running the way you want is worth the other extras that come with your hosting plan. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
