Rmarks82 Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I know absolutly nothing about this kinda of script writting. I am trying to install using the online installation. I put the catalog folder into front page 2003 as a part of my site and then admin. I read the install and went to the correct address for installing on line. catalog/install I think that was it and I keep getting this error. Warning: main(includes/application.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /web/catalog/install/install.php on line 13 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/application.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/pkg/php-4.3.10/lib/php') in /web/catalog/install/install.php on line 13 if anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know I am really lost. Thank you. Ryan
♥Vger Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Well, first thing is - osCommerce and FrontPage don't go well together - so get your hosting company to remove FrontPage extensions from your domain, then FTP to your site and remove all folders that start with vti_ If you actually set it up as a 'web' in FrontPage' on your computer, and then uploaded the files - delete the files on your server, and from your computer. You should still have the zip file from www.oscommerce.com on your 'puter, so unzip it again, and FTP the contents of your 'catalog' folder to the root of your domain. Then, set up a blank database using your phpMyAdmin (if you haven't already done so), and once you've done that go to http://yourdomain.com/install There is a full tutorial on installation in the Knowledge Base.
