Upgrading OSc

I am upgrading my version of OSc but I have bumped into a small problem. Everytime I goto the main page I am resulted with nothing except a white background?. I was thinking that this may have something to do with the configure.php file. It goes like:

How did you go about upgrading? Blank pages are not normally caused by problems with your configure.php file
