librianguy Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Hello Everyone, I m a newbie at Oscommerce... presently im changing a template to the one i made for my store... i need some help regarding the url which comes up in the addrss bar ..... for ur refrence see this site http://www.copsplus.com and browse any of the product i selected the Tactical Gear category and clicked the first product there it gave me this url in the top address bar http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum2677.php where as in oscommere for the same thing it brings up the url with for eg: http://www.cpsplus.com/category.php?abch=dxxxxzmnhss .... i wanted to know if that way of the former site can be attained in oscommerce... It changes the URL to /some-product-name-p-1.html or /some-category-name-c-1.html Check out the site in my card for a sneak preview before release...and I'l still working on it so there may be errors. While you're there might as well test the cart functions (add, modify, delete) and give me some feedback too. Bobby
