Do you have a SSL certificate of your own or that your host shares with you? If you do, you can set up the proper settings in your configuration file. If not, you will have to use a different way to integrate Paypal payments into your site. Most web hosts allow sharing of a Certificate (cheap or free) and they often can get you a discount on your own (much cheaper than they used to be).

If you have a cert, but you're getting the error, maybe it is in your config incorrectly. There are many threads on this in this forum, just search. Alternately, you could post the code of your config file, just be sure to xxxxx out your database name and password before you post it here.

Auctually the problem has nothing to do with your osC site but your paypal preferences. Go to your paypal account -> profile-> website payment preferences-> Scroll down until you see encypted website payments Turn it off.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
