Main page/ index page

Hi All,

 

How can I add a table to the main/index page so I can put any image and any text I want on there? I removed the "new products box", and i have changed the "main text" so now there is basically nothing on the main page.

 

I want to be able to put images and text of my choice, and change them, with a simple html table - possible?

 

(I don't want to put product pictures there, more of a welcome theme thing.)

Yes all HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash and even ActiveX can be use.

Thats perfect - I knew about the text_main part but I did not know you could paste a whole HTML page there. Worked great.
