fenner21 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 I get this error on step 3 Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit in safe mode in /web/www/******/users/test178941/install/includes/functions/general.php on line 47 :'( Please help
Guest Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 your server is in safe mode, thus you need to ask your host to set safe mode to false
fenner21 Posted January 15, 2005 Author Posted January 15, 2005 A friend of mine have installet it successfully? Is there a way to bypass it? Because I don't think that my host will allow safe-mode to be turned off
fenner21 Posted January 16, 2005 Author Posted January 16, 2005 If I proceed with the install ig get this error: Parse error: parse error in /web/www/frac/users/anits/catalog/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 832 in my admin and my catalog doesn't show up at all, just this: Parse error: parse error in /web/www/frac/users/anits/catalog/includes/functions/general.php on line 916 Warning: main(includes/languages/.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /web/www/frac/users/anits/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 285 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/share/pear') in /web/www/frac/users/anits/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 285 :'(
LaneGoldberg Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I am also using a shared-hosting service where they claim they have clients running oscommerce in php safe-mode. I have yet to figure out how to work around this. Any suggestions?
