Removing product on purchase

Hi there, i have a problem in OSC. I run a vintage shop, so there is only one item of everything. First off all is it possible to set 1 as a standard value on all items?

 

When i try buying a product it doesn't automaticly remove it self from my categories, why not? Is it possible to make it work so that when a customor buys an item it get's removed auto?

i dont have my osC handy, but there is a setting in the control panel for doing just that. it will decrease your inventory when an item is purchased. perhaps you have this option toggled off at the moment. poke around the menus and you should find it. you'll also find all kinds of other cool stuff.

When you put the item into inventory, there is a box for your 'Products Quantity' - if you put 1 in there, and under 'Stock' in admin check the settings of the following:

Check stock level (you need 'true')

Subtract stock (again, 'true')

Allow checkout (here you need 'false')

Should sort you right out.
