Guest Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 The send mail program that I am using is not able to send emails when customer is created or order is placed to certain domain names. I checked with my ISP ( Go daddy) and they are not willing to give me the mail server info. I was wondering if there are any code modifications I can make so that I can use a different mail server. 2) What is the best contribution to use if I were to accept credit cards online. but run then offline using my POS machine. Please advice
KennethS Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 You can define to use an SMTP email in the admin...I think. There is a contribution that keeps half the CC# in your database, and emails you the other half. That would be the best security I believe. Guest Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Kenneth, I tried that one too, but it still won't emails to certain domains because the mail server this send mail or smtp program uses does not have a reverse dns. Do you know of any good webhosting companies that I can use. Please advice You can define to use an SMTP email in the admin...I think.
