Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php.

ok...ready... so It looks as though I have it in my list of directories catalog/admin/backups

but it gives me this error when I go to tools- and my config file it looks like this:

per the knowledge base (you did read it?) you need to create the backups directory in your admin directory and tive it 777 file permissions

yes I read it! and have done the permessions- for some reason it is not seeeing it.
