cglitter Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Hi, We are just finalising the finishing touches on our website, but need help to- 1. resize the main inside content page, so that the coloured border fits properly. # You will notice the coloured border doesn't show down the bottom, as it is covered by the main inside template page. 2. We cannot change the highlighted text from RED to hot pink, how do we do this please? 3. Any easy way to drop the coloured border into ALL pages? I was told they cannot be added into cart, info and some pages unless you do this separately and requires more work as it is really coded. www.glitzee.com.au/shop/ Any help would be really appreciated Thanks cglitter :D
Jack_mcs Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 You don't have the border installed correctly. Try installing one of the center shop contributions or do it yourself. It is just adding a few tables to two files. Search the forums for Center Shop for the solution. If you can find the latest version of the Pagemaker contribution, it will add the center shop code for you. The highlight color shows pink on my display. Whoever told you the border couldn't be added to all of the pages didn't know what they were talking about. cglitter Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 Hi Jack, :D :D :D :D Thanks so much for your reply and I am really sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you- major email problems. I really appreciate your help as no-one else bothered to answer my questions. We have had another business experienced in webgraphics etc, helping us and taking on this task when most people couldn't or wouldn't. Ally (graphics businesswoman), has helped us heaps with implementing the border, but she too admits she is unfamiliar with OSCOMMERCE and is still learning. Ally was able to work out a way to do this and help us, she couldn't quite understand why some areas weren't showing and assumed she would have to add the border to other pages separately. With your help, she can install the border correctly and save time in trying to do this on her own- again. Ally does understand coding, html etc much better than us so I will pass on the notes from you to her. The colour we want changed is when you click on a heading, the second part of the heading on the next page is highlighted in RED, how do we change this to PINK? How do we change the BUY NOW graphics to look a lot nicer? Or even black & white not grey blue? Thanks heaps for your help, we don't have a clue just want to run our business and leave the rest to the experts like yourself. kind regards cglitter :D :D :D :D
Nacer Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Well....as you can see from the following: <tr> <td align="left" class="boxText"><nobr><a nowrap href="http://www.glitzee.com.au/shop/index.php?cPath=34"><b><font color='#ff0000'>ABOUT US</font></b></nobr></a><br><hr> This <font color='#ff0000.>...</font> tells the browser to color the selected categrie red, the bad news is it is hard coded while it should be in a css class. Post both includes/boxes/categories.php and includes/classes/boxes.php, and me or someone else will fix it for you. Enjoy Nacer.
cglitter Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 :D Hi Nancer, Thanks for answering my forum post and helping us with the text colour. I will forward this info on to Ally (webgraphics) and see how she goes. If she cannot alter it and you could, what do you need from me? We have another design question- How to change background colour on SIGN IN area and also BUY NOW? We would love the background colour to be BLACK with WHITE text and NOT the ugly blue/grey colour that is there now. I really appreciate you help, Thanks so much cglitter :D
cglitter Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 Sorry Nacer, not Nancer My apolgies for the incorrect spelling of your name cglitter :(
