background Colour

a very basic question..

I want to change my store to have a complete black background including the boxes. I tried to change the background in stylesheet but it is staying white. and could you tell me which php to change for the boxes to be black background also.

all colors are in the stylesheet. i use topstyle for seeing the colors and what the names are.

I changed the text in the style sheet...

 

BODY {

background: #CD3333;

color: #CD3333;

margin: 0px;

 

 

yet it still stays white..

First off, you are going to need to make many changes to make the changes you want. NOt just the one you listed. Second, are you hitting refresh on the page, or closing and reopening. If you are just hitting refresh, you will not see the changes. YOu have to close and reopen.

 

SO to answer your question, yes it is 'stuck' hehehe. I had the same problem. I was changing things all over, thinking What the hell! Then I realized that I was cached heheheh. Needless to say, a big DOH was let outloud that evening. Let us know if that does the trick k?
