jhdesign Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 I cant get SSL to work in admin, this is shared SSL. Here is my config.php in the admin/includes dir: define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.vaporstore.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.vaporstore.com'); define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://host207.ipowerweb.com/~vaporsto'); define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true'); // secure webserver for catalog module define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/home/vaporsto/public_html/'); // where the pages are located on the server define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/~vaporsto/admin/'); // absolute path required define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/home/vaporsto/public_html/admin/'); // absolute pate required define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/~vaporsto/'); // absolute path required define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/vaporsto/public_html/'); // absolute path required define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/'); define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/'); define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/'); define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/'); define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/'); define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'images/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/modules/'); define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/'); // define our database connection define('DB_SERVER', 'localhost'); // eg, localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'xxx'); define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', 'xxx'); define('DB_DATABASE', 'xxx'); define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persisstent connections? define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'
Guest Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.vaporstore.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers to define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://www.vaporstore.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
jhdesign Posted January 15, 2005 Author Posted January 15, 2005 define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.vaporstore.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive serversto define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://www.vaporstore.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Still no go. I think the problem is this, when i put the URL for the admin it changes the Http://www.vaporstore.com into http://vaporstore.com thus not loading the secure url. If I manually then put https://www.vaporstore... it loads fine with SSL. So how do i keep it from changing the url? Thanks.
