Product Attributes Not Added

Hi,

 

I've been browsing this forum for awhile now and have not been able to solve my problem.

 

I have EP 2.74 installed. It seems to work fine except that product attributes are not being added to the products I upload.

 

I have manually entered a product through the admin panel, I then download tab limited text file, open it in Excel, copy the product record, change 'v_products_model' so that it is a unique record.

 

The prodcut is uploaded but it does not show any product attributes when I view the product in my online store.

 

Do I have to manually add Products Attributes in the admin panel? It actually seems to overwrite 'Option Values' in the admin panel.
