trouble finding right contrib..

I remember there being a contrib to replace the new_products.php box on the index.php page (found in modules/new_products.php) but now I can't find it.

 

I remember in the contrib there being a way to select what items are shown from the admin. I also need to be able to customize the look of the box also..

 

any ideas??

There is a contrib called "Featured Products" that during the installl you remove the "new products box" and put in the Featured Products box. It also lets you specify which products go in the box thru the admin. On my site I just added it below the new products box (as I have modded the new products box to act a bit differently). This way I can have "new" products show as well as special products I want on the front page.
