Pretty basic. I think that one of the easiest things you could do is create a custom color layout. All you have to do is change the colors in the stylesheet.css file. That will give you some more branding power, and make the site a little bit more yours.

osCommerce is a great piece of software with wonderful contributions.

Spend some time in the contribution area. There are a lot of gems there.

To many adverts at the foot of the page

Looks crisp tho :)

You right Paul,

But it gives extra cash.

Do you know how to add text to the top of the page next to the logo?

Thanks

Way way way to many adverts,

The products that dont have a image need a simple "No image" image as the new products for "Month" looks uneven.

Shipping table doesnt display correctly in firefox.

you only have one language, so get rid of the languages infobox.

Install a thumbnail contrib, the images are too big on the thumbnails.

The store still looks like a default install of OsC, try changing this a bit and

This topic should really be in the store reviews forum.

BUT dont give up, your getting there.

Kind Regards

I would think that better photos, especially on the main page, would help entice people. When you get to the categories, maybe take some better pics. The bottles all look the same and a lot of the pics are blurry: does not make your mouth water. The descriptions are much better.

You might also consider making your category names shorter. There is a lot of text for category names that makes the names wrap in the boxes, and its not clear when you first look at it what the categories are (not that it is hard to figure out, but I would assume your users are not using full brainpower to parse your site). For example, for "Products of Portugal," you could just call it "Portugal." The word "products" does not add much. You seem to like three words for a category: "Sauces, chutneys, marinades." I would really try to limit these names to one word. You could do sub-categories for chutneys, marianades, etc.

The general look and feel of the out-of-the-box osCommerce is pretty business-like: kind of cut and dry. You might also consider giving it a little "spicier" look and feel. You don't have much of your own branding on these pages.

Thanks,
